What is ULTRAMIX Pancake Mix?

ULTRAMIX Pancake Mix was born in my kitchen in 2006 to be used as baby food for my children. It is loved as baby food for many babies, as a snack for kids, and as breakfast and brunch for families. One 200g bag makes 8 to 9 pieces, so even 3 or 4 people will be full!

Why choose Ultramix?

Pancakes and pancakes are often given to infants, eaten for breakfast/brunch on weekends, and eaten as sweets in heavy rotation. That's why I want to pay close attention to the ingredients. All pancake mixes are the same, so don't you just choose them based on price? Since we use mixed flour to make baked goods such as cakes and muffins, we eat it over and over again, so why not reevaluate the ingredients?

The ingredients in Ultramix are baby food level.

Ultramix was created in the kitchen to solve the concerns about commercially available pancake mixes, which were made by adding vegetables and dried foods to a commercially available pancake mix and making baked goods without any seasonings as baby food for my child. It's pancake mix.

  1. Contains Hokkaido buttermilk
  2. Uses aluminum-free expansion agent
  3. Trans fat free
  4. No fragrances, colors or preservatives

Delicious pancakes even when cold

Ultramix contains buttermilk from Hokkaido, so it's moist and chewy. Unlike regular pancakes, it is not difficult to eat without a drink. That's why it is loved by both babies and seniors.

Also, if you let the baked pancakes cool and then wrap them in plastic wrap and store them, the flavor of the buttermilk will be concentrated and they will be even more delicious. It tastes better when it's cold. You can also store it in the refrigerator. When ready to eat, defrost naturally and then heat in the microwave for about 30 seconds.

Contains Hokkaido buttermilk?

Buttermilk is a byproduct obtained when making butter using raw milk as a raw material, and is dried into a powder form. In Europe and America, when used in dishes such as soups and sauces, it adds richness and flavor, and when added to sweets such as baked goods and pancakes, it gives a light and fluffy finish, so it is easily available at regular supermarkets. It's what goes into it.

It has less fat and calories than cow's milk, and has almost the same nutritional content as cow's milk. Ultra Mix contains plenty of Hokkaido buttermilk.

Do you use aluminum-free expansion agent?

Ultramix uses an aluminum-free expanding agent. Therefore, there is no need to worry about giving it to infants every day.

The leavening agent (baking powder) in common pancake mixes contains aluminum. According to an announcement by the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare, it has been recognized that administering large amounts of aluminum to rats can cause health damage. Also, isn't aluminum exceeding the intake limit for infants and young children, potentially affecting the nervous system? There are also reports that this is a cause for concern.

Is it trans fatty acid free?

Trans fatty acids were regulated and banned in the United States in 2015. Trans fatty acids, which are produced during the processing and production of fats and oils, are found in major margarines and general shortenings, and there is growing concern that excessive intake may have negative effects on health.

Ultramix uses trans fatty acid-free shortening that is pressed without using chemical solvents and processed at high temperatures without hydrogenation.

No fragrances, colors or preservatives

Ultramix does not contain any fragrances, colors or preservatives. Since only a small amount of sugar is added, you can enjoy the natural flavor of wheat. Since it was created to be used as baby food, the sugar and salt content is kept to a minimum, and after repeated tastings, we created a recipe that makes the pancakes most delicious when eaten as is, without adding anything.
